ATF 2011: Audience Activations

Responding to audience demand for more connection, for the more experiential – artists and companies are experimenting with new modes of engagement that have the capacity to deepen and re-imagine relationships between artists and audiences.

This panel session took place at the Brisbane Powerhouse on 16 September 2011 as part of the Australian Theatre Forum.

The facilitator was Annette Downs (Tasmania Performs) and the speakers were Kristine Landon-Smith, Steve Mayhew, Kyle Morrison and Sam Strong.

 Kristine Landon-Smith is joint founder and Artistic Director of Tamasha (UK).

Steve Mayhew is Creative Producer, Regional Performance Development and Presentation at Country Arts SA.

 

 

Kyle Morrison is Artistic Director of Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company in Perth. 

 

Sam Strong is Artistic Director of Griffin Theatre Company in Sydney.
