Joachim Matschoss

Joachim Matschoss was born in Germany and now lives in Melbourne. He is a writer, director and teacher of theatre. He writes in German and English and his plays include Wer frueher stirbt ist laenger tot (Germany 1990), Wohin fuehrt der Weg? (Germany 1991), Karen (Melbourne 2000), in the company of whales (Melbourne, Germany 2002), the chosen (Melbourne, Canada 2003), roadwork ahead (Melbourne, Germany 2003) and watersky (Melbourne 2003). He has also written ice on the river (2000), Heartcore (2001), going places (2002) and hanged for living (2002). He has published a number of volumes of poetry.
