Victoria Carless

Victoria Carless recently received Queensland Theatre Company's George Landen Dann Award for her play 'The Rainbow Dark'. This play is being developed for production in 'Fragments', a season of short plays presented by Backbone Youth Arts in Brisbane for Oct/Nov 2006. She is one of three female playwrights to contribute to 'A Place for Us', a site-specific production performed at the Brisbane Writers' Festival 2006. Victoria is currently completing her PhD in theatre writing at James Cook University, Cairns. Her thesis topic is: Live and Invisible: Writing Towards a Theatre of the Now.
