Mark Swivel
Mark Swivel is a Sydney based writer. Water Falling Down is his first play in many years. Mark is a graduate of the NIDA Playwrights Studio (1991). His produced work includes the plays Struth (The Stables, Griffin co-production 1990) and The Gulf (Bondi Pavilion, Christopher Cummings Productions 1992) and the satirical monologues My Grandfathers Balls (Belvoir Downstairs 1993) and Jeremy Boutsakis: Thought Leader (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Pleasance, Old Fitzroy Theatre, 2007). Mark has worked as a criminologist, lawyer and corporate executive. He is a director of Sydney Credit Union and has a passion for microfinance (and ocean swimming).
