Wendy Beckett

Wendy Beckett is a Sydney playwright who has directed many of her own plays. Her most recent play, For The Love of Alma MAHLER was produced at the Sydney Opera House for a limited season complete with musicians from the Sydney Symphony Orchestra. Many of her other plays are biographical in nature and include: Anais Nin -One Of Her Lives (which she is directing in the New York Beckett Theatre next August 2006), Hester (the story of Australian painter Joy Hester and the Heide set in Melbourne 1930's) and Isadora- Without Limits (the story of Isadora Duncan).
