Tobsha Learner
Originally from London, where she trained to be a sculptor, Tobsha Learner currently divides her time between living in the UK and Australia, although she has also called the USA home. Learner is the best-selling author of the nationally and internationally acclaimed collection of stories, Quiver. The Witch of Cologne, her historical novel set in seventeenth century Germany, has been published in Australia and Germany and is due to be published by Tor books in the USA. Learner recently launched her new collection of short stories, Tremble: Sensual Fables of the Mystical and Sinister.
An award-winning playwright, her plays include Fidelity, Homage, S.N.A.G., The Glass Mermaid, Wolf and Witchplay. Her works have been performed in such diverse places as Edinburgh, Washington and an island off Croatia, as well as on the main stages of Australia.
