THE MAN OF ROSS

by Garth Chamberlain

The year is 1835. Convicts Daniel Herbert, Mary Witherington and Norah Corbett have been sent to Van Dieman's Land to redeem themselves - in Hobart they are separated. Daniel clashes with Jorgen Jorgenson of the Field Police and is sent to Ross to work on the new bridge. There are hints at a pardon if the Bridge is finished in time. Jorgenson has other ideas. Cast number is 12 plus chorus.

A CD of the music is available from the playwright - listen to a sample track here: http://www.ozscript.org/downloads/samplemusic/whatiwaitedfor.mp3
