SILVER SEAFARERS

Two interwoven narratives of the past and the present. A crew of Territory teenagers sail The Midjanga in the Darwin to Ambon Race. A museum guide introduces some of the boats in a maritime museum. While sailing the Arafura Sea, the crew meet seafarers from the past. Silver Seafarers was written for the NT Maritime Museum and staged there; but it could be staged entirely in a theatre.
