SCENES FROM AN AFFAIR

A play is being rehearsed. A is the director, B is the leading lady. The play is about a woman who has an affair. In real life, A is involved with someone else, so is B. But one night after rehearsals they go to see a play together, they drink champagne, they listen to music, they kiss... Soon the lines between fact and fiction become blurred. Soon it is hard to tell what is the world of the play and what is the "real" world. As opening night approaches, the intersecting levels create a complex tapestry of intrigue. Decisions have to be made. But who's leaving who? And, in the final graveyard scene, who's getting buried?
