CHINKS IN THE CHALICE

by Daryl Peebles

Although she grew up in a secure, wealthy and 'loving' Catholic family, Theresa now lives on the edge of society and at the edge of sanity. This once devoutly religious young woman now displays homicidal and suicidal tendencies as her existence oscillates between the hopelessness of her present and the horrors of the past. This disturbing play explores the emerging contemporary societal problem of the adult manifestations of child abuse by people in positions of authority.
