The Pipe Manager captures the work of one of Australia's most significant contemporary performance practitioners in an innovative form. Created and adapted from the live dance/theatre work by performing artist Lisa O’Neill and her creative team, The Pipe Manager is the story of a woman and her rather unusual experience as a pipe manager at The Peers Pipe Company.

This publication is inspired by the popularity of graphic novels to create an illustrated performance text that primarily uses images to tell the story, rather than words. It is an illustrated record of a dance theatre piece that, just like a text based play, can be studied and enjoyed.
