EXTRACT: We were at a funeral. Maura, who works with me, died. You get to a certain age and everyone’s getting married, and you get a bit older, and people start dying. She’d been ill for a while. I don’t really know what it was. We didn’t work closely together. But I wanted to- be there. Pay my respects. It’s sad. Her family were distraught. She was a lovely woman. And Rónnad’s there, giggling away. Like a chuckle. This real glee. At first it was quiet. I thought she might have been crying. I held her hand. But it got louder.
