EXTRACT: The force of the decent is pushing my tongue back into my throat
I am travelling faster than the speed of sound.
This is my past
This is my future
But I keep going. I shut up and keep going
Until one day I don’t
I pull over
The only way out is to endure it
To just face it and not look away
I am travelling at 17000 miles per hour

EXTRACT: I can fix this.
I can fix this.
I can fix this. That’s what I do.
I’m trained to fix things, minimise risks, minimise all of the problems, so that nothing can go wrong. Ever.
This is where I use my expertise, and with the clear purpose of inspecting the shuttle’s exterior for damage. I operate the shuttle’s robotic arm, working on the controls and doing the cameras. The bottom line is I look for damage. The tiniest fracture, the smallest piece of debris.
