An Australia Council report released this week gives a detailed picture of the representation of women in creative leadership positions in the theatre industry, from the early eighties up to the present day. According to the accompanying media release, the situation has 'deteriorated' over the past decade, in constrast to improvements seen in the two decades previously as a result of strategic intervention.
