Penelope Bartlau is the Artistic Director of Barking Spider Visual Theatre (Barking Spider) and is creative Projects Director at Women’s Circus. She is a theatre maker, puppeteer/performer and writer.
Penelope has worked professionally in theatre for over 25 years. In the last 11 years with Barking Spider, she has generated, collaborated and directed 70 works - for theatre, with museums and galleries, site-specific works, community arts projects, schools works, roving pieces and writing and performing for radio.
