Shaun Charles is a playwright and director. His plays include Rio Saki and Other Falling Debris, Three Points of Contact, and the stage adaptations of Andrew McGahan's Last Drinks and The White Earth (adapted with Andrew McGahan).
Other works include the musical Paradise, the libretto for an opera, Dirty Apple, and the text for a cabaret, Lead Sister.
As a director he has directed numerous premiere productions of new work including Linda Hassall's Post Office Rose, Elaine Acworth's Water Wars and Andrew McGahan's Bait.
