In 2003 Bill Garner and Sue Gore put on The Ishmael Club at Trades Hall. The sell out show was nominated for three Green Room Awards. It was transferred to the Malthouse by Playbox in 2004 and received another three Green Room nominations. The Ishmael Club was on the VCE Drama Playlist for 2004.
In 2002, Sue and Bill presented The Bull-Ant at Theatreworks. In 1999, they put on another sell-out show, The Terms & Grammar of Creation, which received a Green Room Award for Outstanding Fringe Production. Their play about the gentrification of St Kilda, Perfecting My Nature Strip, was short-listed for the Victorian Premier's Prize.
Bill Garner's ABC TV series One Summer Again, dramatising the Heidelberg School of painters, won the Writer's Guild Award for Original Work for Television. Bill has also written Cake - An Acland Street Comedy, and for the MTC, Sunday Lunch.
