Donna Hughes is a Fremantle based playwright. She is motivated to craft contemporary stories that examine the truth about our world and the stuff that makes us human. Her plays include Treading Water (2015) selected by Stages WA for development and long-listed for the Monte Miller Award; Disconnected (2017) selected for development with Playwriting Australia and published by Australian Plays; Ground Swell (2020) winner of the People’s Choice Award for the South West Shorts and It Was Tuesday (2020) shortlisted for the Short and Sweet Festival Perth.
