Meg Goodfellow is an emerging playwright from the Southern Highlands, currently based in Wollongong. Her play SKIRT was developed and produced as part of D.I.Y., a student-initiated program in collaboration with and supported by the University of Wollongong and Merrigong Theatre Company in 2018. Meg has completed a Bachelor of Creative Arts, Creative Writing minoring in Philosophy at the University of Wollongong. While there, she wrote her full-length play titled I Do but I Don’t. In her work, Meg combines her passion for playwriting and philosophy, exploring the themes of human nature, memory, ethics and morality, and the effect of trauma and hardship on people and their relationships. Her writing style and dialogue is influenced by her poetic background. In 2019, Meg will complete Honours in creative writing at UOW.
