Brooke Murray is a theatre-maker and inclusion support artist, based in Melbourne. In 2015, Brooke graduated with a Bachelor of Communication: Theatre/Media from Charles Sturt University, where they developed an interdisciplinary practice, and discovered a love of Theatre for Young People. Whilst living in regional NSW, they interned as an ensemble performer for Patch Theatre Company in The Moon’s A Balloon, and toured their own work, At Sea, to local primary schools. In 2018, their projection artwork Cutting Onions was exhibited at the Black Cat Gallery in Fitzroy. Brooke currently works as an inclusion support artist at St Martins Youth Arts, supporting young people through drama and devised theatre processes. Their theatrical work and visual art explores gender identity, queer domesticity, access, tragedy, courage and transformation.
