A man stands on stage reading from a statement. We might be in a courtroom or an interrogation room but not even the man seems to understand the part that he is required to play. What he has written are the things that give meaning to his life, most particularly his missing wife and child.
His list of small moments of love and beauty, intimate and ordinary, are given the resonances of poetry and affirm an aesthetic dimension to life that cannot be separated from the mundane.
