BEARERS OF LIGHT

by Daniel Keene

Marion an 80 year-old woman, sits on a bench in a park where she has always sat, recalling her youth in this same park, on this same bench. Her reverie is interrupted by a young girl of 16, also called Marion.

As they converse, it becomes apparent to them that, although the older Marion cannot recall meeting the younger, they are in fact the same woman at opposite ends of their shared (or parallel) life.

Director, Ariette Taylor; Designer, Adrienne Chisholm, Lighting, Phil Lethlean; Production/Stage Manager, David Presser, Choreographer, Jonathan Taylor.
