RUST AND BONE

by Caleb Lewis

Three men, each a ball of tightly coiled fury. Eddie is a fighter, too old and broken to win, who continues to step into the ring and cop another beating. Maybe because he deserves it. James loves dogs, and loves fighting them to the death. His wife wants a child but is he capable of being a father? Ben is a trainer at Sea World whose daily show goes horribly, horribly wrong. This is a brutal world of broken gods and sinuous monsters, regrets, denial, big dreams and hard-boiled drama. Adapted from the book by Craig Davidson into a taut gripping work for the stage.
