MEN, LOVE AND THE MONKEYBOY

by Caleb Lewis

Phillip spends his days studying primate behaviour. His specialist subject? The Gorilla, man's second closest cousin. He need not look far for inspiration. His father, Robbo, is 55 going on 16 and will forever be ‘one of the boys', his brother-in-law Dave has lost his sex drive since his wife's promotion; and his best mate Rex seems determined to prove his virility by pursuing anything that moves.

When Phillip meets Chelsea he’s offered a glimpse of another life – one in which he can finally leave the pack behind and become his own man. But what type of man?

Men, Love and the Monkeyboy offers a secret glimpse into the lives of men - the ways they laugh and fight and love and hurt - that leaves you wondering if we'll ever make it out of the jungle.
