WAITING ROOMS

by Michael Costello

Three separate yet interconnecting monologues that present, with both sensitivity and humour, the vulnerability, isolation, loneliness, determination and survival of its three characters in today's cities.

'Little Boy Lost' - Howie, a 20-year-old country boy comes to the 'big smoke' to find a job and loses his innocence.
'Miss Rose and Frankie' - A feisty 65-year-old woman is forced to make a stand when she does not like what is happening to her friends at the Senior Citizens' Club.

'Poor Billy' - The job of a 28-year-old intellectually impaired man is threatened because of his relationship with schoolgirls.
