It is New Year's Eve ...
Jason is a teenage offender with too many batteries and a major aversion to confined places. Gloria is thirty-plus and a long-term agoraphobic. She doesn't like people ... especially people who talk too much. And Jason talks way too much.

When Jason rolls in through the window of the Gloria's bed-sit, with a mind to committing a little burglary, the night becomes rather interesting for both of them. Throughout the ensuing hours, the space between them gradually changes shape ... from blatant shared mistrust, into a strange-but-tender form of caring. With the morning light of a brand new year, comes hope. Maybe ... if they both try ... they can help each other to heal the scars of the past ... and survive the potential perils of the future. Maybe ...
